Schoolmaster. Educated at Sydney Grammar. Assisted mother in keeping preparatory school for boys at Parramatta. Master at Sydney Grammar from 1898 from 1909. Officer in Commonwealth Taxation Office from 1910. Poet and short story writer of distinction.
