Educated at Westminster; arrived in Australia c.1895; became the managing director of H.W Horning and Company, auctioneers and real estate agents; Fellow of the Real Estate and Stock Institute of Australia, President associated with Real Estate Institute of Australia and of Real Estate Institute of New South Wales, member of the Federal Land and Valuation Board; honorary treasurer of United Charities Fund, Central Methodist Mission, Waverley War Memorial Hospital; councillor of New South Wales Alliance in 1917, vice president from 1918 until 1925, representative on Australian Prohibition Council in 1925


Personal

Son of Thomas Richardson, accountant, and Ann Butlers. Married (1) B.Buchanan on 5 November 1899 and had issue, 2 daughters and 1 son. Married (2) Gwendoline Jupp in July 1938. Methodist. Funeral at Northern Suburbs cemetery from St Andrew's Church of England cathedral.
