Qualifications, occupations and interests
Interior decorator; partner in furniture business. Educated in public schools to Intermediate level. Her concerns particularly in welfare matters were reflected in her Parliamentary speeches and activities. Recreational interests include reading and theatre.
Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1982.
Married Charles and had issue, 3 children. Divorced 7 July 1979.
