Son of Jabez Carr, soap manufacturer, and Mary Ann Easton. Married Lydia Littlejohn on 24 July 1899 and had issue, 2 daughters and 2 sons. Methodist. Northern suburbs cremation from Leigh Memorial Methodist Church, Parramatta.
