Commissioned as a Justice of the Peace
Qualifications, occupations and interests
Merchant and pastoralist. Was a merchant in Sydney by 1851 and possibly earlier. In 1858 and 1959 was a member of Sydney mercantile firm Prince, Bray and Ogg, which also had squatting interests in unsettled districts. Firm later became Prince, Ogg and Co., financing pastoral ventures and acting as wool export agents. Member of Committee of New South Wales Trade Protection Society. On committee of Sydney Chamber of Commerce in 1871.
