Trade Union officer. Tradesman's Assistant and furnaceman. Minute Secretary of the Sydney Branch of the Federated Ironworkers' Association in 1952. Organiser of Sydney Branch of Federated Ironworkers' Association, New South Wales Branch; elected as a delegate to Labor Council of New South Wales in 1953. Member of the New South Wales Labor Council Disputes Committee in 1960. Elected as an organiser of New South Wales Labor Council in 1961. Member of State Industrial Relations Advisory Council. Recreational interests included gardening, reading and music.

Officer in the Order of Australia (AO).


Personal

Son of Roland Ducker and his wife Ruth. Arrived in Australia in April 1950. Married Valerie and they had 2 sons and 1 daughter. Requiem Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mona Vale on 2 December 2005 and funeral at Mona Vale cemetery, Mona Vale.
