Member Australian Sports Commission 1985-1987. President Federation Australian Karate-do Organisations 1978-1987. Director Confederation of Australian Sport 1979-1987. Outspoken anti-drug campaigner in the Cabramatta District. Associated with numerous local ethnic community groups.

Qualifications, occupations and interests

Union organiser. Educated at Cabramatta Primary School, Liverpool High School and University of Sydney. Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations.Trade union and training authority education programs. Previously state union organiser Federated Clerks Union 1970-1986. Recreational interests include coaching karate.

Married Mary and had issue one son. Wife deceased December 1979. Assassinated 5 September 1994.
