General Purpose Standing Committee No. 2

The Clerk announced the receipt, pursuant to standing order, of report No. 28, entitled "The Program of Appliances for Disabled People", dated December 2008, together with transcripts of evidence, tabled documents, submissions, correspondence and answers to questions taken on notice, received out of session and authorised to be printed on 15 December 2008.

That the House take note of the report.

This report was about very important funding that the committee agreed needed attention. We look forward to the Government's speedy response to this report, and to discussing it in detail during take-note debate. I note that the report was a consensus report by all members of the committee.
