Mr COLLINS: My question is directed to the Minister for Local Government. Did Vanessa Lovett tell a building consultant at the site of her disputed home renovations in January this year: "My boss is the Minister for Local Government and he has come here and looked at the home." Given that you told this House yesterday that claims you visited the building site were completely untrue, have you misled Parliament?
Mr SPEAKER: Order! I call the honourable member for Ermington to order.
Mr E. T. PAGE: Unfortunately, I am not responsible for what people say on mucked up building sites.
Mr Collins: Your staff?
Mr E. T. PAGE: Just hold on! As I said yesterday - and it was true yesterday and it is true today - I have never been to the building site in question.
