Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters
The Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters is a current joint standing committee.
The Committee was established by resolution in 2004 and was re-appointed for the 54th Parliament on 21 June 2007. The Committee inquires into and reports on matters that are referred by either House of the Parliament or a Minister relating to the administration of, and practices related to, the Parliamentary Electorates and Elections Act 1912 (excluding Part 2) and the Election Funding Act 1981.
