Mr Moppett to the Deputy Premier, Minister for Health, and Minister for Aboriginal Affairs—


(1)        What is the waiting time for provision of various prostheses to public health patients?

(2)        (a)        Are waiting times particularly long for the following prostheses for public patients:

                (i)        Artificial joints for knee and hip replacement?

                (ii)        False teeth for dental clinics?

                (iii)        Various items for injury and surgical rehabilitation therapy?

(b)        If so, why?

(3)        Are these waiting times examples of:

(a)        care delayed; or

(b)        care denied?
