Governor's speech
- When the Governor attends the chamber, the Usher of the Black Rod will announce and conduct the Governor to the dais.
- The Governor will direct the Usher of the Black Rod to command the immediate attendance of the Assembly in the Council chamber.
- When the members of the Assembly have come with their Speaker into the Council chamber the Governor will address both Houses of the Parliament.
- The President and the Speaker will each receive a copy of the Governor’s speech and the Governor will withdraw from the Council chamber.
