S.O.48 Adjournment and next meeting - recall of House by majority of Members
48. An absolute majority of Members may in writing to the Speaker, or in the absence of the Speaker the Deputy Speaker, request the House meet at an earlier time than set down on adjournment. The Speaker shall:
- Fix a day and time within 10 days of the receipt of the request.
- Communicate the day and time to all Members.
- Accept an advice from the Leader of a recognised Party as a request on behalf of all its Members.
