Description	Prior to 1894 accessions do not appear to have been separately recorded from the vouchers and invoices of the purchasing records. From 1894 separate accession records were kept. Volume 1 is alphabetical by author, and gives the date entered; author; subject (ie title); publisher; and price. After 1895 (from Volume 2) the information began to be more detailed. The following volumes are also alphabetical by author, and give the following details: author; title; volumes; size; edition; publisher; date ordered; year of publication; date received; published price; discount or commission; net cost; and notes.
