Description This series is an artificial one, created for convenience, and comprising all the extant miscellaneous records relating to stocktaking created up to 1980. These are generally lists of books missing at particular times or from particular locations; lists of magazines needed to complete sets; lists and inventories of books in particular places or repositories; and lists of books from the collection donated to other institutions.

    This volume is a bound collection of various papers relating to stocktaking. The lists are: List of Books Missing, n.d.     3Stocktaking records, 1924
    This volume is a bound collection of two alphabetical lists relating to outstanding loans by Members. Each list is comprised of the following information: Name of Member; Titles of books ; and date (possibly of return).
    4Stocktake Lists, 1916 - 1922
    This volume is a bound collection of a number of lists relating to the stocktaking of magazines and newspapers, giving the titles, numbers of copies, and the monthly issues in the Library. They are: American magazines; American illustrateds; Australian magazines and newspapers; English newspapers; English and European magazines; and English illustrateds.
    5Stocktake Lists, 1928 - 1931
    This volume is similar to No. 4, above, being a bound collection of a number of lists relating to the stocktaking of magazines and newspapers, giving the titles, numbers of copies, and the monthly issues in the Library. They are: Australian; American; English and European magazines; English newspapers; illustrateds; and Australian newspapers and magazines.
    6Outstanding Entries in the Day Book, 1936 - 1941
    The "Day Book was apparently the daily loans register (PRS 280.L, above page 45), and this is a manuscript list of items outstanding on it. It gives the date, title of work, and the name of the Member who borrowed it. Another typed list is attached. This second list gives the location number of the missing book, the author, and the title. It is annotated with the name of the Member who borrowed it.
