Description	This series is comprised of copies of vouchers (also called abstracts) to the Treasury authorising the payment of book orders, and of invoices or accounts from booksellers or book-agents. Each voucher gives a detailed list of the books supplied, with author and title, the cost of the book, and the total cost of the order. It is signed by the Librarian of the day and by the supplier (or claimant), with the date and sometimes signatures of witnesses. Vouchers are also sometimes made out for shipping expenses. The invoices, or accounts from booksellers or book-agents, list the books and journals in some detail, giving the author and title, the cost of the individual item, and the total cost of the order. These lists are usually ticked twice, indicating that the order was probably checked at each end. Sometimes letters are attached to these invoices.
