Committee on the Independent Commission Against Corruption
The Committee on the Independent Commission Against Corruption is a current joint statutory committee, established 6 April 1989, re-established 22 June 2011.
The Committee on the Independent Commission Against Corruption was established in accordance with the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988. The Committee is the means by which the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is accountable to the Parliament.
The functions of the Committee are set out in Part 7 of the ICAC Act. The Committee monitors and reviews the exercise by the ICAC and ICAC Inspector of their functions, and examines annual reports and other reports of the ICAC and ICAC Inspector. It also examines trends and changes in corrupt conduct, and practices and methods related to corrupt conduct.
It should be noted that nothing in Part 7 of the ICAC Act authorises the Committee to:
* investigate a matter relating to particular conduct, or
* reconsider a decision to investigate, not to investigate or to discontinue investigation of a particular complaint, or
* reconsider the findings, recommendations, determinations or other decisions of the ICAC in relation to a particular investigation or complaint.

(3) Committee on the Independent Commission Against Corruption
That:
(1) In accordance with section 65 (1) (b) of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988, the following members of the Legislative Assembly be appointed to serve on the Committee on the Independent Commission Against Corruption: Mr Richard Amery, Mr Mark Coure, Mr Andrew Gee, Mr Thomas George, Ms Tania Mihailuk, Mr Tim Owen, Mr Nathan Rees and Mr Mark Speakman.
(2) The Committee have leave to make visits of inspection within the State of New South Wales and other States and Territories of Australia.
(3) A message be sent acquainting the Legislative Council of the resolution and requesting the Legislative Council to appoint three of its members to serve on the Committee.

1. That under section 63 of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988, a joint committee known as the Committee on the Independent Commission Against Corruption be appointed.
2. That under section 65 (1)(a) of the Act, Mr Naill Blair, Ms Lynda Voltz and Revd Fred Nile be appointed to serve on the committee as members of the Legislative Council.
