Notes: Elected as an MP for Bourke in 1891, Langwell had not been admitted to the Labor caucus, but took the pledge in 1892. He is not included in the list of endorsed Labor candidates (SMH 16 July 1894, p.5), is listed as an Independent Labor candidate in the Australian Workman, and the Worker listed him as a Labor candidate on 30 June before he became a modified pledge Labor candidate in the 7 July Brisbane Worker. He is listed here as an Independent Labor candidate.
