Suspension of Standing and Sessional Orders: Order of Business

The Hon. MATTHEW MASON-COX [11.38 a.m.]: I move:
That standing and sessional orders be suspended to allow a motion to be moved forthwith that Private Members' Business item No. 231 outside the Order of Precedence, relating to an Address to the Governor regarding Tony Stewart, MP, be called on forthwith.
I refer to my earlier comments about the urgency of Private Members' Business item No. 229 outside the Order of Precedence. This matter deals with similar issues in relation to Mr Stewart. The reasons for urgency are identical but the matters are being dealt with separately as this is a procedural matter. The substantive issue is the same.

Question—That the motion be agreed to—put and resolved in the affirmative.

Motion agreed to.

Order of Business

Motion by the Hon. Matthew Mason-Cox agreed to:
That Private Members' Business item No. 231 outside the Order of Precedence be called on forthwith.
