Suspension of Standing Orders: Routine of Business
Motion by Mr John Aquilina agreed to:
That standing orders be suspended at this sitting to permit:
(1) the moving of a motion "That the House take note of Christmas felicitations" prior to the commencement of private members' statements with the following speaking time limits:
(a) Leader of the House—10 minutes;
(b) Leader of the Opposition—10 minutes;
(c) Leader of The Nationals—5 minutes;
(d) member for Bathurst—5 minutes;
(e) member for Wagga Wagga—5 minutes;
(f) member for East Hills—5 minutes; and
(g) member for Lismore—5 minutes; and
(2) private members' statements to be taken at the conclusion of Christmas felicitations.
