NSW Parliament Plein Air Art Prize - Open Day - Sunday 20 May 2012
This Sunday, the NSW Parliament will open its doors for a special weekend showing of the 2012 NSW Parliament Plein Air Painting Prize. From Balmain to Bowral, Manly to Bega, Kings Cross to Mutawintji, forty two unique visions of our State are currently hanging on the walls of the Fountain Court, captured by the brushstrokes of some of our most talented plein air painters including Tom Carment, Bela Ivanyi, Neil Taylor, Rachel Ellis and this year's winner, John Bokor.
From 10.00am to 4.00pm, visitors will be able to view the free exhibition, meet and talk with some of the artists and enjoy some light refreshments in the dining room. It's a fantastic opportunity for anyone visiting the CBD on Sunday to drop by Macquarie Street and experience this celebration of the many and diverse urban, city and natural landscapes that make up this great State.
