In accordance with its statutory functions under Section 95 of the Police Integrity Commission Act 1996, the Committee on the Office of the Ombudsman and the Police Integrity Commission has resolved to conduct an inquiry into:
(a) the way in which complaints against the Police Integrity Commission are examined; and
(b) the processes and procedures between the Inspector and the Commission enabling the examination of complaints; and
(c) any other matter that the Committee considers relevant to the inquiry; and
to report to both Houses of Parliament on the inquiry
